RETURN POLICY

At Chess Creations Ltd, we want you to be completely satisfied with your chess wall art posters, calendars, cards, mugs, and other products. This return policy outlines our quality guarantee, return procedures, and the options available to you.
SECTION 1 - QUALITY GUARANTEE
We are committed to providing high-quality chess art products. If you are not satisfied with the quality of a product you receive, please contact us at support@gambitart.com within 30 days of receiving your item, and we will do everything we can to investigate and find a solution.
Our quality guarantee covers:
• Defective or damaged products not caused by customer error
• Errors in the number or quantity of delivered products
• Significant quality issues with the delivered product
• Products that arrive damaged during shipping
If our quality assurance team validates your claim, we will be happy to send a complimentary replacement order as quickly as possible. We'd much rather fix any problems and send a replacement to ensure you're happy with your order.
If a replacement order is not feasible, or you cannot wait for a new order to arrive, please indicate this when you contact us and we'll provide you with a refund.
SECTION 2 - RETURN CONDITIONS
Due to the personalized, print-on-demand nature of our chess art products, we have specific return conditions:
Standard Returns:
We offer returns for items in new, unworn, unaltered, and undamaged condition within 14 days of the delivery date of your order. You will have the following options for your return:
A) Return your product(s) for store credit: Receive store credit for the full amount paid for the product(s) for future use minus return shipping costs.
B) Return your product(s) for exchange: Exchange for a different size, design, or product of equal or lesser value. You will be responsible for return shipping costs, and we will cover shipping for the replacement item.
C) Return your product(s) for refund: Receive a refund for the product cost minus a 15% restocking fee to cover original processing fees, return processing costs, and administrative expenses. As a small business, absorbing these costs without the restocking fee is not sustainable for us.
SECTION 3 - ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN
The following items cannot be returned:
• Personalized or custom chess art products with specific names, dates, or custom text
• Products damaged by customer misuse or normal wear
• Products returned after 14 days from delivery date
• Products not in original condition or packaging
SECTION 4 - COLOR CONSISTENCY
We use professional print partners and standardized processes to minimize color variations. However, printing is a chemical process and 100% consistency cannot be achieved. Multiple factors influence color consistency, including:
• Print machine type and settings
• Paper types and quality
• Environmental conditions (humidity, temperature)
• Monitor display differences
Minor color variations that may occur due to these factors lie within acceptable tolerance levels and are not covered under our return policy.
SECTION 5 - LOST OR DAMAGED ORDERS
Lost Orders:
For packages lost in transit, please contact us at support@gambitart.com within 30 days from the estimated delivery date. We'll be happy to send a replacement order at no additional cost to you.
Damaged in Transit:
If your order arrives damaged due to shipping, please contact us immediately with photos of the damaged items and packaging. We will arrange for a replacement order to be sent at no cost to you.
SECTION 6 - ORDERS RETURNED TO SENDER
Orders may be returned to sender for the following reasons:
Wrong Address: If you provide an address considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned. You will be responsible for the cost of reshipping to a corrected address.
Rejected by Recipient: If you reject the shipment during delivery, you will be responsible for the cost of reshipping.
Unclaimed: If you are unable to receive your order and it goes unclaimed at the local post office or pickup point, please contact us within 30 days. We can arrange for a replacement order, but you will be responsible for the shipping costs of the new order.
SECTION 7 - HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN
To initiate a return, please contact us at support@gambitart.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Please include:
• Your order number
• Reason for return
• Photos of the item (if applicable)
• Preferred resolution (store credit, exchange, or refund)
We will provide you with return instructions and a return authorization number. Items returned without prior authorization may not be processed.
SECTION 8 - RETURN SHIPPING
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, defective product, or damage during shipping). We recommend using a trackable shipping method as we are not responsible for items lost during return shipping.
SECTION 9 - PROCESSING TIME
Returns are typically processed within 5-7 business days after we receive the returned item. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Store credit will be issued as a digital gift card code sent to your email address.
SECTION 10 - INTERNATIONAL RETURNS
For international orders, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and any customs fees. We recommend contacting us first to discuss the most cost-effective solution, which may include a partial refund instead of physical return.
